I´ve got a folder that always opens at startup even if I close it before I
logout. I´ve also tried different settings in the tools-menu, but nothing
makes any difference.
Anybody got an idea?

The closest thing was #2:
It was the Acrobat folder in "C:\Programs\Adobe". I was hoping to sort it
out in a smart way, but once I opened regedit and started to look around I
resigned . Solved it by uninstalling Adobe Reader, deleting the Adobe folder
and also deleting Adobe in the registry (that much I could figure out...),
and then installing it all over again.
Probably worse on my dad´s computer... On it it´s the "Programs" folder that
pops up :(

My System32 Folder opens when I do startup. Other than th
irritation, does this do or cause any problems? I am totall
ignorant, computer-wise, and would be petrified to try and fix th
problem

Thanks

It's pretty descriptive and easy to follow.

Personally I'd give Startup Control Panel a shot first.
