Hi all,

Am new to Front Page. We don't have a website host yet, but I am going to
play around with the program 1st. My question is should the images for a
page be kept in the same root folder of the page or in a separate folder
(such as folder name: "images" (I know - very clever of me)). Also do you
make a separate folder for each page or do you keep everything in the main
folder.

We are a small contruction company and the website will be mainly, home page
and then some pages with our models for sale.

Thanks,
Carol Van

Mark,
Think of your website as a file cabinet. Arrange folders and files
according to your needs and to make them easy to find when you need them.

I arrange sites by "topic" with a folder for each topic. All pages / images etc related to a topic
go in it's folder.

FP usually creates the Image folder for you. Have you created a Web first?...in other words...create the Web first then the pages within the web (even if you're not going to publish it to online server yet).

I strongly recommend putting an images folder in each section of your site.
It make maintenance a lot easier if and when you decide to discard content.
