Hello,

Whenever I click on a folder or file in Windows XP it is Maximized
when opened. Is there a way that I can stop this? I'd rather have
the folders/files to open in a smaller size. So I am wondering if
there is a registry string that I could make this happen.

Thank you for any input.

Open a folder, click the "Restore Down" button (Top right between the Close & Minimize buttons),
position and size the window to your liking, then click "Tools", "Folder Options", click the
"View" tab, under "Files and Folders", check the box, "Remember each folder's view setting",
click "Apply", click the "Apply to all folders" button, "OK" and close the window.
