Folder Views

Hello

I have lost the ability to change folder views. This option has simply
disapeared from control Panel, Does anyone know why or how to remedy this?

Look at the top row of Explorer, under Tools.

Click Start | Run
Type: regedit
Click OK
Expand "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer"
Right side, delete "NoFolderOptions"
Reboot


OR [For WIndows XP Pro only] :

Start | Run
Type: gpedit.msc
Click OK
Under User Configuration, Expand:
Administrative Templates, Windows Components, Windows Explorer
Right side, double click "Remove Folder options from Tool menu"
Set to "Not Configured" or "Disabled"
