folder view

One of my folders displayed the files neatly in their various types.
i.e. movie files, zip files. Each section was seperated and titled
with teh file type. A very neat way of displaying this. I have no odea
how this is done. Suddenly I have lost this format. How do I get it
back? I cannot find in in folder options.

Click View->Arrange Icons by->Type. Then click View->Arrange Icons
by->Show in Groups.

Hi Andre C,

I think this is what you're looking to do:

Open a folder or My Computer and go to View>Details and then View>Arrange
Icons by->Type
Now go to Tools>Folder Options>View tab and click on the Apply to All
Folders button. In the Folder Views dialogue box, click on Yes.
