Hi,

I have this strange problem which I've been trying to fix for a while but
can't figure out which part of the registry controls it.

Every folder I open, example My Documents, Control Panel, etc, it is always
in "folder mode", by this I mean that the folder icon is enabled and I get
two panels. I tried to turn it off, held down the "CTRL" key to close the
folder hopping to save the settings but when I open the same folders, it
will not save it. It only seems to remember the position and size of the
folder. Even when I change from classis folder to common task and back, the
settings are not saved.

Can anyone offer some assistance? It's driving me crazy.

Thanks & Regards

Alan
