Okay guys, I'm sure someone has had this one answered before but I'm
not sure how to find the answer so here goes:

I'm quite the shortcut fiend and yet whenever I open a new folder
there will be the dotted curser around the first file or folder.
However, when you click enter, nothing happens. And say you have two
files that both start with A, when you type "a" it jumps to the second
file rather than the first.

Anyone know how to overcome this pitfall?

Thanks so much.

Press [Space] key to highlight the item that is in the dots then press
[Enter] key to run it.

Thanks a lot. Seems like such a "no brainer!"
