Hi there,

using W2K and have a peculiar problem.

I can setup a share on a folder and other users can get into it.

But when I reboot my PC, these shares disappear and I have to go back in and
set it back up again.

Is this a registry setting (ie: to make a share "sticky") or something like
that? Just wondering if anyone has a clue please.

Thanks,
Pete

So your actual *shares* on the local computer disappear after you reboot?
Are you on a domain? Anybody change policy settings on your computer? Any
event log errors?
The shares should "stick", all the time...by default, they do.

Yep, the shares.

Yes, I'm on a LAN at work, not sure if anything is being changed.

Is it a domain? Have you talked to the admin folk, if there are any?
