Folder Properties

Upgraded from xp home to xp pro sp1 and now cannot access folder properties
when i right click.There are 3 computers on my network and on the other
computers i can access folder properties from my computer but cannot get
folder properties to work for my own folders. Properties on my computer will
only work for individual files but will not work on folders.
Done a search on microsoft but could not find this problem listed on any of
my searches.
