I would like to know if there is anyway to permanently collapse sub-folders
in my folder bar. Basically I have a 100 folders, and each one has multiple
sub folders. Now they all display, so everytime I want to file something I
have to scroll through all of them, or collapse the main folders to view all
of the folders in my mail. In Outlook, this happened automatically but not
in Windows Mail. thoughts?
 
Under Tools | Options | General uncheck the option to automatically display
folders with unread messages and see if that helps.

Sorry. I don't know a fix then. I usually just enable the folder bar and
not the folder list under View | Layout.
