Folder Loading At Startup - Can't Stop It

I have a folder that automatically loads every time I
boot up my Windows XP even though this specific folder is
not currently located in any of the "startup"
directories. I also cannot find anything else (shortcut,
etc.) pointing to this folder in any of the "startup"
directories. When I perform a search for the folder
name, it is only found in one place - under c:\program
files. So, I'm stumped! I do not want this folder to
automatically open up every time I start XP but I can't
seem to stop it. Any help would be sincerely appreciated.

Thanks!!!

Try running a spy-ware program, like Spybot Search &
Destroy, and see if that removes anything; Also, which
folder is it? That can help if it's known spyware right
off the bat.
