D DatabaseBen Sep 11, 2006 #6 the others at work should know how to sort thousands of files with a single click on the filetype column heading. if this is too too difficult for them to comprehend a 10 year old windows concept, then "LET THEM SUFFER......" but, you may want to download specialty software that builds index's / compiles file names for easy view and access... try googling..
