Hi Sandman,

Think i understand your question, and assume you are talking
about working in explorer ??
Anyhow, if you right click in the grey area at the top of the
explorer window, then tick the option to show address.

Hope this is what you are after.

How do I get the "address" display of the folder I am working from to be
shown? For instance, if I am working with software, its convenient for me
(as it was in Win 98) to see EXACTLY where I am in the folder in order to
copy and paste the "address" I presently am at in the appropriate section
the software asks .

Eg. say I am in D drive, and working on image batching, in Win 98 it would
say D:\pictures\images\hotels
I could then easily copy and paste this into software that deals with image
editing. On Win XP, I presently cannot and find this to be a pain and
cumbersome. Is there anyway to adjust these settings on XP to get it to
function the same way it did on 98?

Thanks,

Sandman
