folder details lost after copying to CD

For a folder of photos, I changed the folder details -- i.e. column headings
-- to include "subject" and "date picture taken." But after I use Windows XP
to copy the folder to a CD and then view the contents on the CD, those folder
details are not displayed. Is there some way to retain the folder details
when copying photos to a CD?

Unfortunately, no. The column choices for details view are not saved with the folder on CD, they're
in the registry & specific to the path of the source folder.
