folder blocked

i had password my documents and ticked "make this folder personal". i installed win2000 and now i cannot access my documents. pls help.

In Windows 2000, you will need to view the properties of that folder, go to
the security tab, and add your current user account in Win2k to the list and
give yourself full control. Have it replace the permissions on all the
files in that folder, and you should be able to access your files.
