Fn key

Since have downloaded a SW my keyboard is locked and i
need to press on the Fn key to write...please help !!!!i
have removed it, but my keyboard is still stuck...
 
I'm sort of wondering if the OP is referring to the extra Fn key found on a lot of laptops, used to control specific functions like changing the brightness of the display, toggling to an external monitor, etc. I have no answer to the problem but would suggest a reboot if not already tried.
