We have renewed my computer with Xp proffesional and my floppy drive no
longer works. My computer says it works correct but when I put a floppy in it
he says it's empty while it is not at all
What can I do so that I read my floppy disks again?
Please advice wanted

If you upgraded from Win 98/ or Me, then some of
Win 98 floppies don't work in XP.
It might be the drive maker itself or Microsoft.

I'm sure this person can shop around.
thanks for your input though

my floppy drive did worked with xp earlyer. But now that we format de
computer and reinstalled Xp the floppy doesn't do anything. Yet when I check
my computer is saying that he still works correctly. I guess it must be
something related with windows. Isn't there any other way that the floppy
could work without reinstalling?
I can't reinstall myself I need to let someone come over to do this

I just want to promote Teac. The most common brands you see are Mitsumi
and Teac. Teac is always a dollar or two more, but will last 3 times as
long.
