Floppy drive is not refreshing

Hi,

I have been having this problem in the past two weeks.

When I insert a floppy disk explorer shows the files as usual the problem is
when i insert another floppy then the explorer shows the same files as the
first one.

F5 do not work.
Dir from cmd window does not work.

I know is not hardware problem because I boot from the floppy MSDOS and in
there when I change floppies averything is working fine.

So this problem is only in Windows XP.

Any help would be apreciated.

I've seen this effect too in past. If I remember correct
then a CHKDSK A: helped then.
