Originaly I had a DVD and a floppy in my PC. I recently
installed a CD-R which works great. Since I installed
the CD-r I dont have a drive A anymore and can't view my
floppy's. Anyone out there have a clue? I didnt change
any of the internal wiring attachments to my floppy.

Thanks you in advance :)

Right click My Computer and use Disk Management to give the A: drive its
proper designation. You can also assign the other drives almost any letter
you want.

I may be missing something but my floppy drive isn't
dhowing up on disk management. I get 3 drives, C:(Hard
drive, D:(DVD), E:(CD-R), no additional drives show up
that I could rename or designate as my A: (used to be
floppy drive 1.44). It's like the computer doesn't know
I have a floppy connected.

Oh. Look in Device Manager. Is there a listing for a floppy drive. It may
simply be called "Generic Disk Drive" or something similar. Remove it and
when you reboot it should be installed by Windows. This could be your
problem.

You may want to double check the wiring. You may have bumped one of the
connections loose either at the floppy or on the motherboard. Does the
floppy light come on momentarily at boot up?
