Hello,

I am having a problem with floppy drives. This may not
matter but it is on a peer to peer network. A floopy disk
is inserted and previewed in Explorer. The disk is removed
and another one is put in teh drive. When you try to look
at the new disk, it erases the contents of it and re-
writes the disk with the contents of teh first disk that
was inserted?

Has anyone else had/seen/heard of this error, if so your
help would be much appreciated.

It isn't erasing the floppy, the drive isn't refreshing the
display of the file table. Try clicking refresh to read the
table again. The drive may be defective if it doesn't
recognize the insertion of the new disk. Right click on the
A: drive in My Computer and select properties and work your
way to the troubleshooter for the floppy. Also check the
floppy in the device manager. But you might need to replace
the drive, they aren't too expensive at $10-20.
