I try to reboot from boot disk, my computer isn't recognizing the that their
is a disk in my flopping drive. I think my floppy drive is disable when I
reboot. Would give me instructions on enable it?

Thanking you in

Hi,

Please check your BIOS Settings to see which is the boot
up device. There are 3 choices, floppy drive, CD Drive
and Hard disk. You must have the floppy disk as the start
up device to enable booting from the floppy.

Floppy drive. My floppy drive was disable by HP, I call them a couple
months after I got my computer account when I would start up, I would hear
noise on start up. HP tech said that was my floppy drive making that noise
because when I start my computer was checking the floppy drive. So he
instructed how to disable it so computer wouldn't recognize it on start up.

You need to go into your BIOS setup program and check the boot
sequence there. Your assumption that it will try to boot from the
floppy before the hard drive is probably incorrect.

In the BIOS setup program, you can change the order of the three
possible boot devices (floppy, CD-ROM drive, hard drive) to
whatever you want. If you want the floppy first, set it there.

If you don't know how to get into the BIOS setup program, one
common way is to press the Del key when you first power on, but
that's not necessarily right for your computer.

Watch the screen carefully when you first boot; there's often a
message there telling you what to do. If not, check your system
documentation or check with your vendor.

Or just try the Del key. There's a good chance that's correct for
you.
