Floppy disk drive suddenly cannot find addres on floppy

My device manager says that floppy drive is working properly but when I insert any disk that used to work or new or ol
it always says cannot find addres on 3 1/2 floppy. could it be that there is a paper in it or something. because it stopped working for no reason.
 
It sounds like it's just broken, that simple. I doubt
it's worth your time to try and trouble shoot a $15 part.
