Floppy disc

I have a floppy disc that worked yesterday, but today i can't open it. My
message says the disc needs to be formatted....help
 
Try it again and again. Try a different machine. If you
get it to work, copy the disk to the hard drive.

I get this problem occasionally, too.
It may be my imagination, but a reboot may help.
 
Hi

I had a similar problem. I would insert the disc buit it would not be
recognised. Found out that the floppy drive was not quite installed right.
I loosened the securing screws and tweaked the drive a little and retighten
the screws. Never had a problem with the drive since.
