I agree, unique. Some of these posts are good. You might be careful
though not to monopolize this group.

What do you mean by "monopolize this group" ? Tramps posts don't stop
other people posting.

What I meant by monopolize is having to sort through more posts to find
post of the normal variety, that is persons asking for help. To tell
you the truth they don't bother me that much as I have found a couple
new programs via posts by him and similar posters of the past couple of
weeks. On the other hand I think one of the programs I downloaded from
a Tramp or similar poster had a trojan horse in it.

He could for instance make one big post per day. What would be wronmg
with that?

It's just a suggestion. We could take a poll to see what other users
think, whether they would prefer to see him/her load all the programs
in one post per day or whether they are a positive addition to the
group.

The poll suggestion and my other posts are not anything but suggestions
they are not strongly held opinions. I do kind of like the posts, but
they I am finding the group a little more difficult to review each day.

If people want to skip his posts then they can do so. It isn't rocket
science.

The same thing that has been said every time someone makes that
suggestion in reply to his posts over many years. Some of us keep
posts. We don't want to keep details of 50 items if we are only
interested in 5 of them.

Regards, John.

If there is too much noise in the list of postings then it makes it
harder to skip through.

Just as below you hsve snipped parts of a posting for clarity. Some
people can live with the whole damn thread being quoted and requoted ad
infinitum. In fact they seem to prefer having this history of posts in
every posting. But I prefer snipping & trimming to context.

Similarly I think "socrtwo" wishes for a clearer view of what else is
posted.

Just my 2 cents worth.
