Geez, all I ever find is dustbunnies and candy wrappers. No numbers on them
though.

Where would he have stuck the question mark in that collection of
words,numbers and letters?

And do you have question? Or did you think you were replying to something
in a different newsgroup?

There's no "Don't Lose this Number!" notice on the back insert of my FS
98 jewel case. There's no yellow "CD Key" sticker on the outside of the
jewel case either. I don't think it required a CD key for installation.

Odd, the "part number" on the CD's label doesn't quite match a similar
sequence of numbers pressed into the disk near the hub opening.

The part numbers on the CD are close to the numbers on the white sticker
on the back of the jewel case AND the bar code on the insert. The
product ID from a screen capture of the "About..." pop-up doesn't
resemble any of the numbers on the CD or packaging.

Don't recall my FS98 having a key. This was before Microsoft got greedy and
prevented me from installing on both my PCs.

2004 was a worthwhile FS upgrade. I just shelled out $ for the new X and
found it to be bloated and slow if you turn up the graphics. :(
