Eric

I have a CD that is supposed to start a flash
presentation. When I autoplay the CD, an error dialogue
pops up that says:

FlashAnts (title of the dialogue box)

MediaPlayer ActiveX control wasn't installed.Program
cann't continue. Please get MediaPlayer control from
www.microsoft.com

Note the spelling errors...this is "EXACTLY" how the
dialogue box is spelling the error message.

If anyone can assist on this one, I would greatly
appreciate the assistance.

I've re-installed Media Player 9. I've reinstalled Flash
Player and Shockwave Player. The shockewave files play
just fine if I select them individually. However,
whenever I double click the executable file that is
supposed to start the presentation in it's own window,
this is the error I get. Please note that this was
working fine until I recently encountered this error.

Thanks for the help in advance.

Eric

P.S. This "is" on Windows XP Professional.

I'd check the machine for viruses and spyware/adware. I'd also scan the
CD for viruses.
