Flash Object and Netscape.

I was testing my site that I have started working to make sure that it works with other browsers. Here is what I have:

-A flash menu on a FrontPage (2003) site built in 1Cool Button Tool v5.

-On my local PC, everything works correctly in IE BEFORE I publish.

-On a local networked PC running Netscape 7.1, everything works correctly BEFORE I publish.

-On any PC (that I have tested so for) running IE, everything works correctly AFTER I publish.

-On the SAME networked PC with Netscape, the page with the flash menu just displays the HTML text now. Does anyone have a clue why this is?

TIA!

Not w/o a URL of the page

I would first check the ending </embed> tag is in the code (placed right
before the ending </object> tag, if you inserted the movie using FP
generated code. If the movie only requires Flash 5 viewer (or some other
version) you can change the default version in the code from (6,0,0,0) to
(5,0,0,0) also. Other than that, would need to see your page.

Theresa,
You are the MAN! (Or WOMAN) :-)
I check to see if the </embed> tag was included and it was not. I did't do anything special with the control. Just insert..additional comp....etc. I did notice something interesting. The file name was changed to .shtm instead of .htm sometime during the publish process. I don't know if that had anything to do with it, but I changed it anyway. After inserting the </embed> tag (and changing the file extension?) everything is working like a champ! My hero!

Thanks again!

I'm occassionally confused with a boy named 'Sue'. :) I am not offended...
glad I could help.
