Hi,

I'm trying to accomplish something with outlook 2002 and I can't get it to
work...

We have a exchange mailserver and for a certain department there is a
mailfolder called 'todo', as we have a lot of people working in that 'todo'
folder, sometimes a mail just keeps sitting there :) because nobody knows
if anyone has handled it yet or is busy with it...

So I sort of invented a methodology for this issue, what I want to do:

-When somebody is working on a mail, he/she would flag it for follow-up,
the others see the red flag and don't touch the mail, as they know that
someone else is working on it.

-Once they have finished their work on that email, they then flag it as
completed and this is where my problem starts:

I would like to have something automatic that processes all mails in that
folder when they are flagged as complete, the action that I want is to move
it to the 'Done' folder...

I tried this via the email rules but I don't have the completed flag option
there as a condition... Second problem, it has to be scheduled somehow
because it can be an email which is in the 'todo' folder for a couple of
days weeks...

Anyone here any idea how to accomplish this? I don't have any experience
in vba/macros.... but I have seen this solution before...

Thanks.

Regards,

Nico

Have a look at outlookcode.com for VBA samples. Slipstick.com also has some
VBA samples for rules. Another option is exlife (or inbox rules) at
www.ornic.com but I don't think it can be scheduled. it's easy to run
'offline' though.
