Does anybody know how I can fix the MBR on my computer
becayse it is overwritten by GRUB. I try to use the
recovery console from the cd, but I can't remember my
Administrator password, because it's not the same as the
Administrator password in Windows. Does anybody know a
different way to fix the MBR?

Hi Alex,

You could try booting from a WIN98 or WINME startup floppy disk, and at the
A: prompt, key in:
fdisk /mbr
<ENTER>

Regards,

hmm the thing is that i don't have a startup dig from WIN)
8 or WINME and I don't have a floppy disk drive...:(

Of course you've already tried the obvious?
(just hit enter, because there's no password assigned initially)
