In Supercalc, I could save a spreadsheet as 'values'.
Formulae relating cells no longer operated.
The spreadsheet became 'dead'!
How do I do the same thing in Excel?

Select the cells you want to remove the formulas from, (the whole sheet if
you wish). Right click > 'Copy'. Right click again, 'Paste Special' check
'Values' > OK.
Regards,
Alan.

I hope my 'thank-you' sent on the day of receipt of your solution got through to you. Your solution was exactly what I needed, and such was the number of problems solved by that solution that you instantly became 'God in my Universe'...!!!

Then save.

Gord - Thank you for your excellent solution. Alan got in first, and as
such, inevitably gets the prime credit! I didn't see your post until
today... Thank you, again. What is perhaps very simple and/or obvious to
you is FAR from being such to the likes of me!
