WinXP wouldn't start due to corrupted registry. I restored
the "system", "software", "sam", "security", and "default"
files in c:\windows\system32\config per Q307545.
Now Windows tries to start but I get a message: When
trying to update a password the value of the current
password is not correct. lsass.exe. Then it reboots only
to display the same message.
I cannot find any support document on this problem.
Advice please.
