Hey Folks,

If you missed another post on this site, I found it.

There appears to be a fix for the "Internet explorer is
expereincing a problem. Internet explorer will now close"
problem.

Go to Control Panel>Internet Options>Advanced

Uncheck the box that says "enable third party browser
extensions"

Restart your machine.

Hope this helps.

Thanks, Bruce. Disabling third-party browser extensions is only a Quickfix. The users need to eliminate the malware causing the problem.
Use ToolbarCop or BHODemon and spot the malware BHO causing the problem.

Spybot Search & Destroy: http://www.safer-networking.org/
Ad-Aware - www.lavasoftusa.com
CoolWebSearch Shredder : http://www.merijn.org/files/CWShredder.exe
or

Your fix will give you some problem with genuine sites.

Clean the parasites that caused your problem. Re activate your 3rd party
browser after.

This may be caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware, parasite).
Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.

Thanks Bruce! This definitately helped me with my
problem. What's the deal with these other replies re:
parasites, spyware, et al.? Are they legit or not? Is
this a temporary solution only? How will your fix impact
my regular 'surfing?'

Do what these guys say

They know what they are talking about. All I did was find this solution somewhere else. I did go and get the spybot program off the net and ran it. The amount of adware was unbelievable
