Fitch and Mather Sample App

I'm trying to install the Fitch and Mather sample app and I get a dialog that
says I need .NET SDK 1.0.2914.

I've installed .NET SDK 1.1 and I'm still getting this message.

Can anyone help?

You might have to install the 1.0 runtime:

In the end, the F&M app isn't a great sample. Are you looking for
ASP.NET samples? The startker kits on http://asp.net are a better
introduction.

Thanks for the reference to the starter kits, that was eye-opening, but I was
interested in the FM system because I want to build something similar, and I
wanted a working model to tinker with - especially one with password hashing.

Installing the 1.0 runtime did not solve my problem.
