I need to set my cd-rom as my first priority boot device in order to use a windows repair cd. I've checked the manual that came with my computer and it doesn't have any information about how to do this. Please help.

Candice,

You need to enter your BIOS and set up the CD-ROM as first boot
device.
To enter it you need to press a key (generally Del) when the computer
is booting up and before it gets to the Windows screen.

More info:

Good luck

Take care when amending the bios, generally there is an option on each page
to revert to defaults, also you can excit without saving - do this if yr
unsure then start again
