It's not that the third party firewalls "work better"...they have additional
features that Internet Connection Firewall (which is about to be known as
Windows Firewall) does not.

You should only have one software firewall running at a time. Same thing for
antivirus software - only run one at a time. This is not the case with
spyware removers: Spyware is a relatively new threat, so it helps to have
two spyware removers installed. However, if you have the kind of spyware
detector that runs in the background to intercept spyware installations,
only one of those at a time.

It's also a good idea to only date one woman at a time, but I digress.
 
Posts here indicate that 3rd party firewalls (e.g. Zonal Alarm which I've
installed) seem to work better than the one packaged with my XP Pro.
Question: after installation, should I run both firewalls simultaneously or
disconnect the XP one?
