Hi I activate my firewall under xp now I cannot connect
to the rest of the computer on my network. I can c them
under network neigh telling me got no rights. I can
browse the net though through a gateway on the net. Do
not have a server got 10 pc's linked together

The windows firewall will stop your network from working.
You need to get a 3rd party firewall(like zonealarm or
nortons) and configure it properly for the network.

By design, XP's Internet Connection Firewall (notice its name) blocks
file and printer sharing. It's for use only on a direct modem
connection to the Internet, not on a local area network connection.

Read XP's Help for ICF. Help clearly states that ICF is intended for use
only on a computer directly connected to the Internet. Use on a LAN
connected computer may cause communications interference on the LAN
