It might be your picture display settings.

In Firefox click on the menu item "Tools", select "Options", then open
the "Content" tab. Place a check-mark beside "Load images". Also make
sure that there is no check-mark beside "for the originating web site
only". Click on the "Exceptions" button and remove any entries in there
as well.

Now all the pictures should be displayed on every page you visit.

One thing you can try is to see if your profile is hosed.

Close all instances of Firefox, click Start, then Run (or whatever Mac
uses to raise a CLI if you're using a Mac). Enter:

firefox.exe -profilemanager

When the profile manager comes up, create another profile with a new
name (it has a wizard to walk you through it). Restart Firefox with the
new profile and see if the trouble clears up.

You have turned the display of images off in your preferences. Turn it
back on and all will be well.

Why don't go with firefox support questions to the
netscape.mozilla.firefox newsgroup?

This is not a support forum, if I understand its sense

I had this problem recently, but it only affected certain pages. The only
thing that worked was to uninstall version 1.5 and revert to version 1.0.7

If none of the other suggestions work, perhaps this is your solution.

Many suggestions have been offered. It would now be nice if the original OP
(richk) would post back as to which worked, if any, once he has a few
minutes. I'm interested in finding out for further reference.

Doesn't look like this plugin will help. It won't install in FF 1.5. Does
install in Mozilla 1.7 but works poorly. If you want to do streaming media,
try Real Alternative or Quicktime Alternative.

Hope this helps.

Give us a url to look at :-)

Often images with file names containing characters such as spaces
can give problems. No doubt there is a standard somewhere :-)

Best place for TB help is probably news.mozilla.com. There are real
experts in there.
