I installed FF 1.5 on my system, into a different folder from FF 1.07.
When I open FF 1.5 (since updated to no effect), the window will not
fill the screen. There is a grey area below the status bar that is maybe
20% of my screen height. I can't get it to full size. Any idea wtf I
might have done or something to try to solve this?

TIA,
R.

When in doubt, uninstall and delete your profile, and try again fresh.

Right click on the Mozilla Firefox shortcut, select Properties > Run: &
select Maximised.

Right click on the Mozilla Firefox shortcut, select Properties > Run: &
select Maximised.

Thanks, but I used Kerodo's method and just reinstalled the lot and it
works beautifully now. It must have been a corrupt profile I think
because it didn't even finish loading before (throbber running, some
menu choices not present (ie about), etc.

Thanks for taking the time, both of you.
R.
