Is there any way to install them manually? I've just reloaded everything
and have my Firefox stuff in a backup folder.

The way I have installed extensions manually is to open the Firefox
browser, goto > Tools > Extensions then drag and drop the extension
into the box called "extensions" it should prompt you once you drag the
extension into the box.

HTH.

go to file|open and open the relevant .xpi file.
Install dialogue will guide you through the rest.

This may or may not work. I think it depends on which extensions are
installed -- some of them may use absolute paths, which makes moving
them around impossible.

Create a new profile with your new Firefox, then close Firefox and
overwrite everything in the profile folder with the files from your
backed-up profile.

More ideas and troubleshooting are at
<http://kb.mozillazine.org/Moving_your_profile_folder>. (A bit
outdated -- .slt folders are no longer used for profiles.)

If none of that works for you, I think you could create a new profile,
install fresh copies of the extensions you want, then overwrite
prefs.js with your backed-up prefs.js. Most extensions store their
options there, so you wouldn't have to reconfigure everything.
