Firefox and Microsoft Newsgroups

I have downloaded Firefox ver. 1.0PR. There is a Microsoft Newsgroups tap
in the tool bar. It open and shows the content (questions), but the +box
beside the question giving a possible answer will not open. Is this normal
with Firefox?

Thanks Dev, I didn't know this group existed. However, I went back to that
newsgroup and they were all open with a -box, and won't close. Weird.
Thanks again for the info.
 
Actual I will answer.
Firefox does not support Newsgroups.
Thunderbird does, but does not support secnews groups verry well.
It also has some other problems as well.

They are working to fix that problem.

I use free agent2 news reader.
Microsoft news server is
news.microsoft.com



outlook express supports newsgroups. I had some problems with that as
well.


I use free agent. Because you can backup your stuff Easily.

Just download Netscape 7.2 and you will get everything you need including better manageability than M$'s.

I use non Microsoft products wherever possible which requires no activation.

I use Netscape 7.2 as my default browser which has everything I need for my work.

I believe in good Financial Management!! I do not believe in enriching rich jerks!
