Good news :) seems to be twice as fast and all my extensions work.

Yes; it does appear to be somewhat speedier than 1.0.6, & .07 hasn't messed
with my extensions, either :-)

(ppppsssstt - spread the word <g>)

That's my experience as well. Even Prefbar still works, and it's not on
the approved extensions list.

I seem to notice a difference from fast to flash.

From the Release Notes:
Firefox 1.0.7 is a security and stability release. We strongly recommend that all users upgrade to this latest version.

This version includes several security and stability fixes, including a fix for a reported buffer overflow vulnerability and a fix for a Linux shell command vulnerability.

Specific changes in Firefox 1.0.7

* Fix for a potential buffer overflow vulnerability when loading a hostname with all soft-hyphens
* Fix to prevent URLs passed from external programs from being parsed by the shell (Linux only)
* Fix to prevent a crash when loading a Proxy Auto-Config (PAC) script that uses an "eval" statement
* Fix to restore InstallTrigger.getVersion() for Extension authors
* Other stability and security fixes

I've been using firefox 1.6a1 and it's really, really fast. Also,
seamonkey 1.0a is fast too. In fact, I was going to post about them,
but since this thread is here, I'll just mention it within.

I think for the most part everyone is happy with the rapid
advancements that FireFox and its associated programs are making.
Thank you for the positive impute.

Release Schedule.
We publish Adapter only for official dot releases such as 1.2 or 1.3.1,
not for alpha and beta releases. It takes 2-5 days for release to be
done after the Mozilla release appears.

Looks like sometime late this week or early next week.
