what would be the best way to find the "#" character within a query?

for example fire #
cooker
boiler #

I would want the query to only list fire # and boiler #

any help would be apreciated

Mike

SELECT Table1.*
FROM Table1
WHERE (((Table1.Description) Like "*[#]*"));

You need the brackets around the # character because it can be used as a
wildcard matching any digit. The brackets indicate you want to match the
literal character rather than using it as a wildcard.
