Who is your ISP, in other words, who do you pay to connect to the internet?

Your ISP would have that information. Usually it is mail.YOURISP.com or
similar. But, you would have to double check with them.

I have verizonn wireless's wireless card...i tried calling them and they told
me to contact my email provider with is "microsoft hotmail"...so how do I
find out what my info is...This is exactly what it's asking me:

1. POP3, IMAP, or HTTP?
2. incoming email (POP3 or IMAP) server:???
3. Outgoing email server:???

I am looking everywhere and no one can give me a definitive answer...please
help

how do I find out what my server infomations on outgoing and in coming mail
to set up my e-mail

The server information depends on which email provider you are using. Many
people choose their internet providers as their email providers also, since
most
internet accounts include one or more email accounts. You can ask your
email
provider yourself, or tell us who your email provider is and see if anyone
here
already knows where to find their setup instructions.

Can someone help me with my outgoing server? My internet provider is
verizon.net. I'm not sure what to type in the outgoing server. Thanks.

Hi. Please help. My email account is through yahoo, and I would like to
know Incoming mail (POP3) server and outgoing email server name?

You have to have a Yahoo! Plus account in order to use POP3. Do you have such an account?

US-based free Yahoo accounts have webmail access only, no POP
access. Windows Mail handles POP mail but not webmail.

Yahoo wants you to pay for their premium "Mail Plus" service:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/mailplus/overview/index.html
and use the special settings for that service:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/mailplus/pop/pop-14.html

If you are OK with using a non-Yahoo email address, you have three other
solutions:
* Use the email address assigned to you by your ISP.
* Get a free Gmail account.
* Get a free Hotmail/Live account, and use it with the Windows Live Mail email program.
