finding older version of document

I have saved a couple of documents, written over earlier versions, and rather
than "save as", I obliterated the earlier version and would like to find it.
It does not appear under File and Versions. Any ideas? I am using MWord
2003.

Sorry, Caleb. The older stuff has gone to the big bit-bucket in the
sky. Unless you made backup copies of those versions or printed them,
you'll have to try to reconstruct them manually.

The Versions feature is something you have to turn on before you save
newer versions. That causes Word to save both the old and new versions
in the same file. We don't recommend this, though, because it makes
the files very large and tends to corrupt documents.
