I have sp2 installed and just did all the critical windows
updates, there were 4. Since then whenever I boot up
The computer and my firewall find a new network. I
think because the ip changes at each boot up.

What can I do to make it stop warning me every time
I boot up?

I am using E-Trust armor for my firewall. Can anyone
tell me how to stop the firewall from finding a new
network each time too.

George:
sp2 has a built in firewall. It may be causing a conflict with your e-Trust
firewall. Try turning your e trust firewall off - and reboot.

The windows firewall is turned off. Has been since I installed SP2. Is
there anything else that I could do to keep it from reminding me that
there is a new network every time I boot up. I have a cable modem so
it connects as soon as I boot up. I has only been doing this since I
did the critical updates.

The OS detects a new network also everytime I boot up, but I could
stop that one by clicking the don't show this reminder any more box.

Thanks for replying.
