Hi- Whenever I use PerfectDisk, even after defragmentation-which I do
daily-the one file? that always has some fragmentation is called C:\$Secure:
$SDS. I'm not very adept at using the search feature but when I try it
states no such file exists. It's a minor issue, yet annoying. What is this
file, & where do I find it?
HP, Pentium 4, 200g, 2g RAM, XP Pro

The dollar sign in front of the name means that this is a hidden folder.
Not a folder name used by Win XP. The folder instead was cCreated by a user
of this computer or by some software installed on it. Guessing from the
folder names, could be from some kind of encryption or other security
software.
