Hello,

I use Outlook 2007 with Windows Vista. When I sort my email in my "Inbox"
using de "From" field I should be able to type de first letter of the email
address of a sender and Outlook should move down to the next email address
starting with this letter.

This option is not working on my computer. Can you please tell me where I
can go to make it work again. Thank you in advance for you precious help.

And where are you typing this "first letter"?

Hello Gordon,

My email needs to be sorted using the "From" field, I hilight 1 of my email
and simply type the first letter of the email address of the person instead
of scrolling down.

Thank you

I still am confused as to WHERE you are "typing" this first letter.

Hello Gordon,

I simply highlight any message, and type the firs letter of the email
address I am looking for. For example, it is similar to when you have a drop
down menu with a lot of options and you want to get to the first option
starting with the letter "S", you just type "S"

Thank you again!

Certainly does NOT work here in 2007.....

Hello Gordon,

The letter I type, is the first letter of the contact name, as an example,
if I am looking for "Paul Smith", I would type "P". I told you it was the
first letter of the email address but it is the first letter of the contact
name.

Thank you
