finding emails in a folder

Before I installed Office 2007, I used to be able to go into a folder, select
the column header to sort by (From, To, etc) then hit a letter of the
alphabet to go directly down to the emails starting with that letter. Now I
cannot do that. Did this change with 2007 or do I need to change some
setting?

It should work if you have InCell Editing turned off. Check the setting by
right clicking the column header, Customise Current View, Other Settings,
turn off Allow In Cell editing.

Judy, thanks so much. My InCell Editing was not on, but I turned it on,
saved, and then turned it off again, and it worked!
