I've got many folders and subfolders (coorporate environment)
I forget where I put stuff. I do a search for the folder and find it,
but the find doesn't specify the"path". I still have to manually
search through the heirarchy to find it.
Is there a better way to directly find a folder?

the best solution is not to have so many folders - filing mail is not like
using a filing cabinet. Outlook will not give you the folder path but email
search tools like msn search, lookout, or Google desktop might.

I'm stuck with the folders.

As a research scientist I manage many research projects which require
multiple folders and subfolders.

Plus, I'm on a legal hold order so my coorporate email cannot be
deleted (except for the junk stuff of course) untilm that issue is
resolved

I didn't see anything useful here.
Since I'm on a legal hold order I can't delete business email (all the
otehr junk mail is gone of course)
The amount of email isn't an issue, its an issue of folders.
I could have very little email but have it organized into many
folders. I need the folders to manage my multiple research projects

A couple of suggestions...

Have you considered purchasing a folder utility? Here are a couple
links:

http://www.olfolders.com/Lang/English/QSearchFolders/QSF1.htm

http://folders.qarchive.org/

You could also do a "special" archive of the necessary folders by
exporting them to another location to be saved and then deleting them
off your MS Outlook directories.

I will check into the folder utilities.
I cannot archive email items..that is against company policy (legal
issue)
