Find text on disk.

How can I find text on my disks .

I have in Internet - >options -> start page many adresses listed and woudl
like to expurge those never to be used.
However I am unable to find where they are located on disks !
- Windows search doesn't find them
- clearing history, cookies, deleting index.dat and temp internet files
doesn't change anything.
- regsitry search using Respendenr Registrar or Regedit doesn't find it
elsewell !

Any idea ? ( something like diskedit in DOS times ?)
